How do I get started?

Creating an account with us can be done in just 1 minute while using your Google or Facebook account for registration only takes 30 seconds.

Do I need to go through onboarding?

No, we are a job platform and not an agency. Thus, there is no joining fee or lengthy onboarding process.

So how do I find the jobs I want?

The initial step to take when using our platform is to visit the " Hiring Now " section, which displays a list of part-time and gig job opportunities that are currently seeking workers. From there, you can filter the job listings based on the shift timing, type of work, and payment rate that suits your preferences. This enables you to quickly and easily find job opportunities that match your availability and skill set.

What is the difference between part time and gig job?

At our platform, we define "gig" as a short-term work assignment that typically lasts from one to three weeks. Examples of gig jobs might include managing an event for a weekend or assisting with a sales promotion during school holidays.

On the other hand, "part-time" work is a more regular job that requires workers to come in on specific days each week for an extended period, typically more than a month. Examples of part-time jobs might include having workers come in every weekend during lunch or dinner when the business is typically busiest.

What do I need to do to start applying?

To begin applying for jobs on our platform, the first step is to create a profile by providing the required information about yourself. Once your profile is complete, you can start applying for the job opportunities that interest you. It is essential to ensure that your profile accurately reflects your skills, experience, and availability, as this information is used to match you with suitable job openings. Additionally, having a complete profile can help employers understand who you are and why you are a good fit for their job openings, increasing your chances of being selected for the work.

Can I specify when I want to work?

Absolutely! You can specify your availability and preferred work schedule in your profile on our platform. This information allows us to match you with job opportunities that align with your schedule and preferences. You can also specify the type of work you prefer to do, such as part-time (regular) or gig (one time off) work. Our matching algorithm takes into account all of this information to provide you with relevant job opportunities that fit your requirements.

What is Invite2Work ?

If you update your profile on this platform, potential merchants may search for workers based on their availability and work preferences, and then invite you to work for them if they think you are a good fit. You will receive a notification about the invitation and can review the details of the work before deciding whether to accept or decline the offer.

Can people access my contact information through Invite2Work?

To protect your privacy, your name and contact information are not visible in the public listing. If you decide to accept the invitation to work for a merchant, only then will we reveal your name to them.

What happened after I got accepted from my job application or accept the invitation to work from the merchant?

After you have been accepted for a job application or have accepted an invitation to work from a merchant, you will be able to communicate with the merchant directly using our in-app messaging service. This allows you to discuss the job details, ask any questions you may have, or simply say hello. Once you have communicated with the merchant, you can get ready to start working.

Can I chat with the merchant before my shift start?

Yes, at any time, you can chat with the merchant via in-app messaging or call them directly.

How do I get paid for my work?

Typically, for part-time or gig jobs in the food and beverage or retail sector, you will receive payment for your work in cash at the end of your shift. However, there may be other payment options available, such as bank transfer or TnG wallet, which can be arranged directly with the merchant. The specific payment method can be discussed and agreed upon between you and the merchant.

Does DoWork get a commission cut from my salary?

At DoWork, we believe that you should receive your full salary payment for the work you do. Therefore, we do not take any commission cut from your salary. The salary and hourly rate shown in the work listing are the amounts that you will receive for your work, and we do not deduct any additional fees from your earnings.

How does DoWork make money then?

At the moment, DoWork is free for all merchants to use. However, in the future, we plan to generate revenue by charging merchants a small fee for each job posting or invitation they send to workers. Please note that we will never charge any fees to workers like you. Not now, not ever. .

Whom are these merchants listed in the job listing?

The merchants listed in the job listing are mainly from the F&B and Retail sector. Our merchants range from large corporations to small, owner-operated businesses.

Are all these jobs real?

Yes, all the job postings and work invitations on our platform are legitimate and verified by our team.
